TCD Complete
All the vessels of the Circle of Willis are evaluated.
TCD Limited
Select vessels of the Circle of Willis are evaluated. Vessels of the interest are usually specified by the ordering physician.
Bubble Study
TCD emboli detection with microbubble can detect a cardiac right to left shunt or PFO. TCD allows for grading the shunt by the number of HITS (High-Intensity Transient Signals) that are detected. The number of HITS can help quantify the patient’s risk of stroke.
Emboli Monitoring
Continuous monitoring of the cerebral vessels to determine if spontaneous emboli are traveling in the blood. Most ischemic strokes are the result of cerebral emboli.
Vasomotor Reactivity
TCD VMR with breath-holding allows for the assessment of cerebral vascular reserve by eliciting hypercapnia.
